Pumps without seal are reliable and adapted to most aggressive and slightly viscous liquids. The dipper tube of the pump is in stainless steel; it is compartimentalized in sections in order to separate liquid under pressure (backup canal) from the low-pressure zone (reflow canal).
Advantages of pumps without seal:
Cleaning of the pump is greatly facilitated; the risk of run-off of the liquid when the pump is being moved to different casks is greatly reduced.
The internal structure of the dipper tube rigidifies it considerably, which ensures a mechanical stability in the unit of pumping.
No bearings in the reflow canal.
The engine torque is transmitted to the pump by a sturdy spherical denture clutch on an amply dimensioned stainless steel double rolling ball bearing.
